Mr. Calafatis brings over 19 years of accounting and finance experience in the Canadian energy industry. Since joining ORLEN Upstream Canada as Controller in November 2016, he has played a vital role in shaping finance and tax strategy for the organization. Prior to his tenure at ORLEN, Mr. Calafatis served as the Controller of a private Canadian intermediate energy company from 2013 to 2016, and as the Controller of a public junior Canadian oil company from 2011 to 2013.

Mr. Calafatis holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary. He is also a Chartered Professional and Certified Management Accountant.
